Speedway catalog mislabels Corvette pace car diecasts
Apparently even the Indianapolis Motor Speedway can't keep all the Corvette pace cars straight! As you can see below, this year's merchandise catalog incorrectly labels the 2005 and 2006 Corvette diecast models.
The cars shown above are, from left to right, the 2007, 2005, 2006, and 2004 Corvettes. But the mix-up is more than just putting the wrong label on the wrong car. The text itself is incorrect -- the 2005 pace car wasn't a Z06, the 2006 was!
