2001 Brickyard 400
Monte Carlo Pace Car
In 1994, NASCAR came to Indianapolis and brought with it a new line of pace cars. Sponsored by Chevrolet, the Brickyard 400 pace car program has produced several great Monte Carlo and Camaro pace cars and festival cars and even the first truck ever to pace a race at the Brickyard.
While this website will continue to focus on the Indy 500 pace cars, we would like to recognize the "other" pace cars that have run at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, including the Brickyard 400 and Formula 1 pace cars. We will be adding more information shortly on the 2001 Monte Carlo and all of the previous Brickyard 400 pace cars. For now, here are a few photos of this year's Brickyard 400 pace car.
